Ya Gotta Eat Your Spinach, Baby!


It's hard to get kids to eat green veggies (at least MY kids). One trick that's worth it's weight in gold is to add a double handful of fresh spinach into any smoothie/milkshake you make. You can't taste it, but it's a fresh leafy green veggie. I usually make orange julius with breakfast, a little frozen oj, some milk, ice and a couple of bananas - with a double handful of spinach. Just keep adding it until it's nice and green and voila! Veggies for breakfast or a snack. Sneaky Mom!
